In the Czech Republic, our student accommodation THE FIZZ Prague<\/a> can be found in the capital of the country. To make it easy to get around and see all of the city the train station, underground and tram are practically just outside your doorstep. And if you want to escape the traffic, the park “Stromovka” is not far!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But just as important as the city, is the house you’re living in! In our THE FIZZ Prague you can find study areas, gaming and movie lounges and community kitchens alongside your apartment. The most exciting is probably the sky lounge on the 7th floor with its stunning view over Prague. A little insight on what it’s like to live in THE FIZZ Prague comes from Salom\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First of: Is there a specific reason why you chose to live in the THE FIZZ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Salom\u00e9: <\/strong>I was looking for an accommodation for a year. The dormitories provided by the university only offered rooms with two or more people and I wanted to have a room for myself to fully experience my independence. Shared flats were complicated to find remotely and were not much cheaper than THE FIZZ so I said to myself that with all the services that THE FIZZ offered, it was definitely advantageous, and I don’t regret it at all my choice, everything is perfect.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nWhile enjoying the independence and calmness of your own room and looking out the window in your apartment, what is a thing that you like seeing?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Salom\u00e9: <\/strong>I love the view from my room because it’s clear and I see the blue sky directly when I wake up. I also have some buildings in all colours including a blue one which goes well with the sky, it’s very nice.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n\n

When you like waking up to a blue sky, the sky lounge in THE FIZZ Prague hopefully is a great feature. But what is your personal favourite place at THE FIZZ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Salom\u00e9: <\/strong>My favourite THE FIZZ-place is on the second floor. There are a few tables next to a large window where I go to study. I like this place because I can see what’s going on through the window, I get a ray of sunshine as soon as it comes out, I can say hello to my friends when they pass by but I can also work quietly.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n\n

\nWhat is your best tip to get to know your neighbours?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Salom\u00e9: <\/strong>The first tip for maintaining a good relationship with your neighbours is to remain respectful and not make too much noise. And if you want to get to know them, don’t hesitate to knock on their door to spend some time with them (it always works better with something to eat or a small beer) \ud83d\ude09<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n\n

I can agree with that! Besides your neighbours, there are many more residents in the house and a great way to get to know them are the events. What was your favourite THE FIZZ event so far?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Salom\u00e9: <\/strong>I really liked the Halloween party because a large majority played the game and were dressed up. This event is good because it is in October, so we have already had time to make some friends but also to meet new ones. And the chosen performances are always impressive.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n\n

Now that we have talked about residents, neighbours and friends I want to ask you about the House Managers, they are a part of the community after all. Without their care for the events, the house itself and of course the questions of all the residents, THE FIZZ wouldn’t be the same! Who are your House Managers in Prague, and what are their best qualities?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Salom\u00e9: <\/strong>Our managers, Anthony and Daniel, are really great. They are accessible, and attentive and do not hesitate to laugh with us while remaining professional if necessary.<\/em><\/p>\n
